Stella McCartney Most Popular Online.

STELLA MCCARTNEY has been named the most-searched-for fashion brand on the internet. The designer, who created the Olympic Team GB kit and was named British Fashion Awards' Designer of the Year, was ranked the highest fashion-related search term in the 2012 Google Zeitgeist list.
In second place was Karl Lagerfeld, closely followed by lingerie label Victoria's Secret in third, Alice Temperley in fourth and Versace in fifth place. The annual round-up conducted by Google measures the fastest-growing searches conducted by UK consumers over the last 12 months.
The Duchess of Cambridge was crowned one of the most-searched-for people of 2012 - specifically, her pre-married name, Kate Middleton - second only to Whitney Houston, who died back in February. Third most-Googled star of 2012 was Gary Barlow, followed by fellow X Factor judge Tulisa in fourth place and Olympian Jessica Ennis in fifth.
The most-searched term overall was Euro 2012, proving that the football tournament attracted more online interest than the London 2012 Games. Olympics Tickets was the second most-popular search term of 2012.
The most popular film was, perhaps unsurprisingly, Skyfall - followed by sci-fi thriller Prometheus in second, and The Hunger Games in third. The top trending music artists were named as former X factor contestant Lucy Spraggan, the Military Wives choir and The Voice judge, Will.I.Am.
